Info On Sanyo Fan

Alot resalers claim it as 19.1 cfm, cause it feels a little more then most fans pushing the same amount of air. I think there a little mistaken, the blades are a little bit smaller on these fans so meaning each fin has to push more forceful, equaling more air presure to get 18.7 cfm. But anyways 🙂 its a great fan, toooo expensive though. Same fan you find OEM on Alpha heatsinks.

Been searching for that one a long time, RDJD/JMC used to have an online store, atleast when they were RDJD they did. You can buy em direct if ya wanna box load!

Thanks. I was hoping to find a place to just buy a couple. I got two L1A's in my YY-5402, thought I might be able to reduce the noise level just a tad.

28 db sounds a little loud though. What is it like in the real world? I was thinking about the Adda, Panaflo or Papst for my CPU fan. Which would I be best off with?

I'm running a 750 Duron on stock Coolermaster HSF (not OC).

Nice case Apex, im getting some fans in soon that are 120mm 25db / 53cfm if your intersted they use the same sintered bearing system like Papst.

Thanks. Actually, I'm going to be swapping the case for the Gateway 6400 Server case (The Palo Alto PA-810). I think the extra room for peripherials and bigger space between the top of the mobo and the bottom of the power supply will make cooling even easier. Those fans might actually work well for me.

My main concern is noise. Heck, I still have the retail heatsink on my cpu. The issue though is I just bought three 18gb 15,000rpm Ultra160 SCSI harddrives. I may need to use more than just passively cool them (I hope not, but I'm thinking probably).

Ohh the PA-810!
I've been looking to upgrade to that case, i was hoping i could find it in black. I don't feel like painting my case again... though Metalic Black come around real nice on my 7237, but fragile, scratches easy, look like a paino finish, semi shiney.
Either that of the Antec 840, or other those alluminum jobbies, PC-60 or ATC-201.
But the PA-810 is one of the most attractive cases out there and tasteful stock cooling too go with it.
