OK people... this may or may not be obvious to some or all of you, but here goes anyway. We all know that the deal of the day switches around 12:00 to 1:00 AM PST each day. Here is what I have noticed: Between that time the item for the day switches several times, but only the ACTUAL item for that day shows up when you hit "View Item Details". If the item says "Item no longer sold on Buy.com", then it is NOT going to be the deal of the day. To cut down on all the posts that this has been generating, let's not post the "Deal of the Day" until we can verify (click "Details" and indeed see the details of the item) that the item is in fact the deal of the day. Sound good? :)

For every 1 person that will read this thread, there will be another 5 who won't, and who will attempt to post the deal of the day anyway. A valid attempt, and I hope it works, but I don't think it will help much.

The most accurate way to find the current Buy.com Deal of the Day is to visit their main web site

When the new Deal of the Day is loaded and is active, it will appear there. Bookmarking and checking a DOD URL will do no good if it isn't active.

Alex said this before and it's correct. The other day people thought there were 3 DOD's but had they checked the main web site and remained patient they would have realized that it was that cr@ppy @ss Xerox C20 printer.

Now if only they'd sell that SONY VAIO laptop again, who else is waiting for that?
