Info on case material needed

The difference in cooling ability is somewhere between tiny and nonexistent. Most of the cooling in your average computer case is forced air, not escape through the case walls. Aluminum is lighter and nicer looking than steel; but they cool pretty much the same.

The story is different in exotic fanless setups, where the case is the heatsink; but this isn't one of those.

I know Apple uses Aluminum to dissipate heat, as there is physical heat transfer between components and the case, even if it's very little, compared to what is being cooled with forced air, every little bit helps.

Aluminum is lighter and as such generally more prone to vibration (thus noise). Thermal considerations are quite frankly a complete waste of time.
