Info needed for VFD display for case mod

I was just given a VFD display sample form work, but the problem is that it was bought so long ago that we don't have any of the documentation around. Chalk that one up to people leaving and not letting anyone know where docs are.. So, the name on the PCB is Tetra Technologies, Inc. The model is: Module VFD 970-0010-00-01.The main chip on it is: XILINX / XC95108 / PC84ASJ9817 / A1053919A. It already has a cable connected to it that ends in a parallel port connection, but it also has an AC adapter plugin connector on the board, so I need to find out how much power it needs and any other technical data possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The XC95108 is a Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) which apparently is mounted on some type of experimental engineering prototype circuit board. Xilinx is the manufacturer of the CPLD.

If it ends in a parallel port connection try it out with the various parallel port LCD software, don't have any off the top of my head (or bookmarked) but you can find some easily enough on google (lcd software)

Just plug everything in and try it out 😀
