People are just trying to have more reasons to 'stick it' to IW in whatever way they choose. It's getting pretty tiresome IMO and is turning the PC gaming community into a bunch of whiny bitches.

Bullshit, we've always been whiny bitches :)

i swear this game is basically an expansion pack and nothing more,

we've got the same engine, no graphical improvements, same gameplay with some more features in mp

$60 expansion nice

Just like all the EASports games really...very succesfull model, pay full price for minor upgrades and updatted rosters...EA has made billions with it.

If you wonder why MW2 is like MW1 then you should watch this. They took the shit from modders/developers in MW1 and then told them to f off in MW2.

That does not really support your point. But really shows they tried in COD4, but turned the other cheek in MW2.

Hahaha, kill modding for MW2 and use community content from MW1. How very hypocritical. Hope you enjoy doing your own map design again for MW3 guys! (if this turns out to be true)

I wonder if we are going to have yearly installs of this franchise....

I think that clip answers the "why does MW2 use content from MW1" just fine. IW states that MW1 is a great game because it includes the realism "improvements" created by modders and developers right out-of-the-box. This time around, they just thought it would be more favorable to try and rebuild that success on their own.
