Infinity bookshelf Speakers 75 +s/h

wow nice find Joker. These are $300 retail and usually sell for $200-250. I may jump on this one but I have too many speakers. Maybe these can go in... the kitchen... or somewhere...
 
good deal, its around the going price on eBay ( i usually use that to gather the "true" value of an item)

But, I don't think the free shipping applies. If you read through the fine print, you will see that free shipping doesn't apply for some items. See the disclaimer:

if a product is discounted below current site price or is a free product offer, the FREE Ground Shipping may not apply. Some orders may not qualify due to dimensional or weight restrictions (orders of 40lbs. or more). In addition, shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are not eligible for ground shipping.

I usually don't bring up reposts.... Being that it is the SAME post / poster even tho cheaper these go up and down in price depending on the time of day. Maybe it's a good post for the OP??? Just thought I'd bring it up. Shipping kind of kills the deal. Tho if these went out the door with free shipping I could see the double post. 😉
 
So has anyone tried ordering these? I'd like to find out if the free shipping deal applies or not. I sent eCost an e-mail about them, but I haven't gotten a response yet.

Also, anyone know what the deal is with these speakers, and why they're so cheap? Has the series been discontinued or something?

Not without an amp/reciever in between. These are normal stereo speakers which pull power from an amp. Even if you could plug these into your computer, which you cant, you'd blow your PC power supply easily. All direct connection PC speakers (beside rediculous cheapo crap) are self powered. Thats the *basic* difference between computer speakers and normal stereo speakers, self powered or not.
 
Got a reply from eCost. These speakers don't qualify for free shipping because they exceed the weight limit specifications. 🙁

Good Find and a hot deal. Keep in mind that the Entra Ones are a discontinued line that only shows up in the archives on the Infinity website. I have Infinity Modulus for my HT and love them. I could use these as back speakers when I upgrade to 7.1. Infinity speakers are excellent.
