If you have an iOS device, check it out at the app store. The app is $6 and is probably the most I've ever spent on a single app.

IGN gave it a 9.0

I've played it for about an hour or so and its an excellent mobile game. The graphics are the best I've ever seen on a phone. The sword/finger swipe is pretty accurate, almost a 1:1 translation.

The story line is kinda cool. You try to avenge the death of your father and kill the God King.

The game doesn't have free form exploring, but the gameplay mechanics and graphics are amazing. The game runs very smooth and having a retina display to boot makes the game visually on par with playing a game on an HDTV.

How big is the download on this one? I want to play it on the way home today so I'll have to wifi tether my Touch to download it and just wondering how long it will take.

It's like 300+mb, looks like a cool game kinda makes me wish I still had an iphone 4 but w/e.

thanks, I'll go out at lunch and downloading it while I eat. I just got a Touch to play some games since android is lacking in that area. I just wifi tether and it works well enough.

Games like this make me glad I got rid of my iPhone. I probably spent $300 on games in the App Store. Too many awesome ones, so the only way I could stop dropping $$$ was to sell it. This looks bad ass though.

Games like these is one of the few reasons why I still have an iOS device. I really hope more big devs come over to Android but iOS has them beat right now.

Infinity Blade on the iPad is pretty cool, albeit a rail fighter. It kind of reminds me of Demon's Souls and I definitely like it better than I did RAGE HD.

If I still have my IP4, I would get it.
Using a 3gs right now and while normal daily usage is just as fast as the IP4, graphically its no where close to the IP4.

I think John Carmack (id) talked about maybe porting RAGE over to Android, but who knows when that'll happen. I'm not sure if Epic games have stated anything similar.

Actually, from Carmack's own words in an interview with Ars Technica it seems like RAGE on Android is looking like a long shot for now.

I saw this today and was pretty "meh" about it. It looks great, but the comments seemed to be that there wasn't much to the game past the graphics.

I actually ended up buying Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter 2 and Eternal Legacy today. I played the hell out of the original Dungeon Hunter (it probably has the most time played on my phone right ahead of Cut the Rope and Train Yard), so DH2 was an insta-buy for me. Eternal Legacy looks interesting as it's a 3D jRPG-style game. Most RPGs I find for the iOS are Zelda-style games or just Squaresoft's remakes (but not of FF3/6 🙁).

EDIT:

Although, I am curious... I only have an iPhone 3Gs... so would this game look a lot worse on it compared to the iPhone 4?

This game looks awesome. I've been debating since it was released wether to buy or not, but I think I'm gonna go for it.
