Infineon Ram does not work with AMD systems, huh!?

Hey guys, i posted a problem with overclocking my system here: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=28&threadid=355192

I also posted the same message on usenet and some guy responded by saying that he has heard of 10 cases where infineon ram does not work with AMD systems, can anyone verify this please?

Of course Infineon ram works with AMD systems. It's one of the good brands of memory out there.

I have 3 Sticks of Infineon 128mb pc100 on an Asus K7M and it works fine.

Infineon is one of the top memory makes out there, I personally havent heard of one case of Infineon having compatibility problems. He must have been just talking his arse off 🙂

I have proably seen 30+ infineon sticks work fine in amd boards. Maybe the guy was mad at infineon or wanted attention. 🙂

hmm.. I have 2 sticks of CAS 2 PC 133 Infineon ram here with my KT7A-RAId, this ram worked perfectly with my KT7 and MSI K7T Pro2 as well as A7V.

Infineon RAM works fine in AMD systems. I built my friend a system with a 1GHz tbird, KT7, and 2x 128MB Infineon PC133 sticks and it's all good. 🙂

I mixed Toshiba PC133, Hyundai PC133, Infineon PC133 and LGS PC100 in various ways on my A7V and not a single problem. Oh I forgot - Micron as well. Now have PC133 Infineon and Micron PC133 working side by side at CAs2 total = 384.
Depends on who you listen to - whiners or the gurus.

Just got back from CompUSA and the "free" memory after rebate were Infineon PC133 7.5ns. stuff. The memory is working just fine in
my overclocked Duron box.
