Infared in Linux Mandrake?

I have a dell Inspiron 7000 laptop with an infared port. when i was using windows, i used my cell phone (nokia 3360) as a dialup modem via infared. I am now running linux mandrake 9.0 (KDE 3.0 desktop) and i can't even find anything about infared. anybody know anything about using infared in linux?
