Inexplicable Hole in Lake Defies Nature

I can't get over the idea of saying a body of water has a "hole" in it. Not that defies nature.

Its related to the super volcanoes. There building up pressure and going to pop. :Q

Since then, more than a dozen snowmobilers have fallen in. One died

OK, we all know Snowmobilers are fairly dim... but that takes the cake...

The groundwater theory was interesting. According to the second article, there has been record excess of rainfall this year, and they suspect that the groundwater is seeping up from the bottom of lakes. The temperature differential causes currents which erode the ice in those spots.

I like the fault-line explanation. He's right too, there's a fairly large fault line that runs through the middle-west. It's just so stable that there aren't many quakes from it and we don't think about it.
