Hey guys. I was wondering if you knew any fun activities for a team that won't totally break the bank. We did bowling in the past and it was great. We're 12 people at a small technology company, so the budget isn't huge. Any creative ideas?

$4.99 bottle of vodka and strip poker. Never fails to be a great time.

EDIT: Or since you're a tech company and probably nerds do a gaming contest. Halo or Call of Duty tournament with a bragging rights prize. Maybe a trophy.

Does this even exist? I didn't even find something that cheap in college! Son of a bitch. The lowest of the low was either: Mr Boston, Crystal Palace, Burnett's or Barton's. Of course pairing one of the above with numerous amounts of Natty Light made for some good times.

A bottle of Jameson runs around $35. Purchase a bottle, go into a conference room, have everyone take two shots, shut off the lights, and start swinging at one another.

How about asking the team members for ideas?

If they're like most tech workers, they'll say "Nothing." :D

Ahhh of course for 375ml. If I was buying the cheap shit, it was always 1.75L.

OP: On serious note - maybe since you're not talking about that many people it'd be more beneficial to find out the interests of everyone and work with that. It's difficult to pick something out of a hat and have everyone enjoy themselves. Is this a mandatory thing during work hours, or something that's optional?

Get in a taxi and go to the ghetto part of town. Try to get to safety on foot. The ultimate game of survival.

Skol (not Skull) or Military Special. Not sure if that's for the 750ml bottles though. They taste like burning.

Really simple.

Take a piece of paper. Write down half of the team members on the left side, and the other half on the right side, with a clear line between the lists. Leave the paper in a room with the team.

do volunteer work where you can work as a group and help the community

Ones I've done:
-Helped put together a wall for a low income house being built.
-unpacking food supplies. Mainly boxes of peanuts from China filled with rat feces that we give to the hungry, donated by Snickers.
-weeded a community garden and planted the next crop of plants.
