Indoor security cam recommendation

My child is transitioning from a crib to a bed and I would like to put a camera in the room to make sure they aren't climbing on furniture at night or doing other dangerous things. Is there a simple secure solution I should look into that would allow me to view a live feed of the room from an app on my phone? I have some concerns about data security with services like Wyze/Ring/Nest.

Personally - we just stuck with a normal RF based baby camera because for the same reason, I did not have faith in a web based system and the security of such.

With that said, you can get Blink indoor cameras that record to a local SD card and are motion triggered. The clips do not sit on a cloud somewhere, however the data does have to transmit to cloud servers first and then down to local SD card.
