Man, that game is so amazing... And the music... Simply marvelous! I wish they made a sequel - with a new story, new ways of controlling time (so new types of puzzles!) and more of this awesome music 🙂 I just think it will be very hard - but I believe in the creative minds of the creators of Braid 🙂 Maybe one day...

polus bonus votes for world of goo, defense grid, and audiosurf.
Love PvZ, but it's made by PopCap Games if I recall, which makes it far from an indie game. I think it qualifies more as a casual game than an indie game.

Hmm....

I just finished Braid the other day (bought it last weekend during the Steam sale) and it is indeed fantastic. A bit short, but I'd rather have a short, good game than a long bad or mediocre one.

I've played Defense Grid and World of Goo, I'll have to check out some of the other suggestions.

I def love Braid, Defense Grid and Plants v. Monsters. Trine is another one; I loved the demo but I don't want to pay $30 for it.

Trine was short but sweet. Plants vs Zombies was great, World of Goo was fabulous. I can't seem to get into Braid.
