Indictments to flow when?

1/21? Later?

NY first? Then who?
Would probably be several months at a minimum. Presumably Biden will not block access to his tax returns, which NYS has indicated is the primary roadblock to bringing charges. After they get them though they have to analyze them, follow up, etc. Could take awhile.

I think if charges will be brought it will be within the next 12 months though.

The cynic in me says October 2022, just in time to fire up the Democrat base for the midterms.

Indicted doesn't necessarily mean arrested and cuffed or even prosecuted. There are all sorts of ways lawyers work things out.

All defendants must appear in person for arraignment. They're also subject to posting bond, gag orders, house arrest & surrender of their passports if considered a flight risk. I'm sure Individual_1 will be shown some deference because the SS will obviously help him to appear, particularly in federal court like the SDNY. Or he'll flee US jurisdiction before that can happen, which seems likely. Scotland looks like a refueling stop to me.

As much as this would please me...

I'm not gonna hold my breath while I wait for it.

Let's not get too excited. Trump himself is not being charged yet and Wesselberg is not cooperating with the prosecution so far. The best we can hope for is that the charges against Wesselberg are enough to land him in jail for over 5 years so that they have leverage on him. If it's a ticky tack charge where he's facing like a year or less, he won't turn on Trump. Trump is already paying him off I'm sure.

Trump himself won’t be charged tomorrow, but there’s plenty of time left for hat to happen in the future. If his loans get called in due to the organization getting indicted, he’ll be in some deep shit without being indicted.

I'd ROFL if those banks decided to audit his financials...and got fraud charges filed over over-representing his properties' values...then the IRS charged him with fraud for under-representing their values/expenses.

I think the bigger deal is indicating Trump Org vs. AW alone. Wouldn’t that indictment allow prosecutors to start unraveling the web of shell companies tied to Trump Org thru greater access to financial records?
