Well. This isn't creepy AF at all...

This is Maria Butina. The woman arrested yesterday. In the Oval Office. With the President.

EDIT: Seeing there might be some question if this is her or not. Might be an NSC staffer.

Edit 2: Yup not her. NSC staffer confirmed. Deleting.

Yeah I had heard people describing it, but this is the first picture I've seen. Thanks Russia! We didn't allow our own press corps in so we had rely on Russia to incriminate themselves.

Also - has anyone cross checked the names on the indictments last Friday with the list of Russian officials that came over a couple months ago on that super secret (until it wasn't) visit to the CIA and other high level government offices?

....and also with the russian officials that those patriotic GOP congressmen met with during their Moscow visit the other week. All of it off the record?

BREAKING: Judge in the Manafort case has been asked by Mueller to grant immunity to 5 witnesses?

Did Manafort just flip? Is he naming names?

Last night Maddow said they pushed the trial back. She wouldn't go so far as to say it's because he flipped. Rather that there is an ominous sense that he's getting there.

I have to think that the Russia/NRA chick that got arrested has some link back to Gates. I've been on record on this thread that he was one of the funnels and was involved in the NRA piece.

I'm sure your typical NRA member is just going to roll over like Imogine Coca eating a piss laden sandwich in National Lampoon Vacation when they find out their organization was used to funnel Russian money to the Trump campaign. Cause we've got the GOP congress working hard to cover that trail at this very moment. Traitors every MF'n one of em.

Interesting. I was thinking "US Person 1" is Elliott Broidy.

Bah, we all know that if these witnesses want immunity that means they are criminals and their testimony can't be trusted.

Also, a grant of immunity means the prosecutor is buying their testimony. LIES!

Can't believe you're making me do this BUT what if they were witnesses against Hillary asking for immunity?

Well in that case obviously they need guarantees that there won't be retaliation for them bravely coming forward to speak the truth.

Also, /s

It's a classic organized crime prosecution technique. We'll give you immunity if you roll over & tell what little we know you know. Or we can tear your life apart & beat it out of you.

It's an offer you can't refuse.

I hope Mueller gets what he wants from the Court.

Reminds me of how an old & experienced detective responded to a theft at a wireless store I managed.
Guy had a bad interaction with an employee, so he took her phone for some reason. This was her property not company property. He was obviously on video putting it into his pocket (after he paid his bill...smart move now we know your name & address)
Reported it to the police this close to retirement detective lumbered in, looked at the video and said can’t you give her a new one. I said no it’s not a company device.
He called the dude on video started off like
“Mr Jones, I’m at ... it looks like you may have someone else’s phone...”
I hear Mr. Jones giving push back grumbling on the phone
Detective flips the nice switch off: “Jones shut the fuck up, you live at ... Lane, I will be by at 6:30 tonight you better have that phone and it better not be broken if so I am going to arrest you in front of your family and stuff you in the squad car so all your neighbors know”
Then I hear Mr Jones Grumble again
Detective fuck you I’ll be there at 6:30 you better be fucking home!!
Detective walks out, walks back in a 7pm drops off stolen phone and walks out without saying a word.
Happened 15 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday
