SNAP! Mueller brought in Kushner for an interview would have been after all that Flynn had was revealed. Kushner could say this and that or whatever, but without doubt a key purpose would be to determine if Kushner's statements vary with Flynn's. In that case I would expect a "wash, repeat" scenario where Kushner either flips or faces criminal charges which would likely involve NY as Kushner does so much there. There might be a pardon for Flynn but there is no such thing for crimes committed in our state.

Those who know Mueller see this as an astounding concession and the only rational reason would be that Flynn outed those higher on the food chain, or maybe two equal to him. According to Abramson his only peer is Sessions and that's not good enough by far. The only two higher than Flynn are Trump and Pence. One or both should be planning retirements in countries without extradition agreements.

Let them. Even Fox isn't stepping up in defense. Napolitano was pretty much saying "oh shit" today as far as consequences go and how leniently Flynn is being treated.

I think today marks the tipping point, the moment of no return or vindication.
 
Time to audit the White House phone & email logs. I know people have said Trump continued daily talks with Flynn after he was fired. We need to know what advice Flynn who looks to be a Russian conspirator and the President talked about.

If I remember correctly Mueller's team ordered the retention of all recordings and documents which might have any bearing on the prosecution. I don't think the staff has any illusions of who is really in charge here and that not only Mueller prosecute the big fish but accessories as well.

Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.
 
Have to respect how Mueller has handled this. I'm sure he is aware half the country doesn't respect the investigation, so he is getting people to confess(plea).

He's getting people to plea to a lot lesser charge then they could have been charged with. This means that Flynn's lawyers proffered things that Flynn is willing to testify to i.e. Trump told me to do it. He's going after the big orange whale of an idiot we have for president.

I want people to remember who it is that they're making into heroes. I don't believe I made any grand predictions about the outcome of the Russia investigation, I think I just stated that no evidence had been produced of Russian collusion to fix the elections. That's still the case.
 
If I were Trump, I would have fired Mueller. Shit, at this stage swinging for the fences. Nothing to lose at this point and no amount of Fox News propaganda is going to prevent the legal consequences.
