Is today the day?

On a related note, related to the direction the 'discussion' is taking of late, can someone link to Comey's note? The one where he documented his interpretation of what Trump said to him in regards to the Flynn investigation?

Comey says he documented the conversation, then passed it on to a good friend at Columbia and then the friend passed it on to the New York Times.

I'd like to read Comey's version. Anyone got a link?

you clearly didn't watch or listen to the last Comey hearing or you wouldn't be asking that question.

Ooo! What changes for you if you read his version?

Very curious to know.

I cannot give you a specific lie as I cannot prove anything. He is after all a professional. My long answer is to explain why I think he is damaged goods. Take it or leave it...

So nothing. I think most of us agree his decisions on how to handle announcements around the Clinton investigation were pretty bad. But its is a big leap to go from that to calling the guy a liar in the absence of a provable false hood from him. Bad judgement is not equal to dishonesty.

I think you are intelligent enough to know that but for some reason are choosing to ignore it so you can stick to some both are just bad narrative you've built in your mind to avoid confronting the facts.

If so why is everybody convinced that Trump colluded with Russia? There is no proof of any collusion between Trump and Russia.
So lets both face the facts as they stand today.

Actually Comey didn't say Trump did. So this is another non-answer to the original question. So back to my question what has Comey said that is demonstrably false?

Comey said that Trump attempted to establish a patronage relationship with the FBI head, asked him to stop investigating his former National Security adviser, and then fired him because he wouldn't. Forget collusion with Russia, that is almost identical to what Nixon was going to be impeached over before he resigned. It's not one of those 'it's a lot of smoke but no fire' things, that's the fire.

Trump of course says that's all lies but does anyone actually believe a single thing he says? He has negative credibility.

Preet Bharara was interviewed yesterday telling almost exactly the same story. I'm not sure why these two career men would lie about their interactions. I have no doubt that Trump would lie, about anything. Between Comey and Bharara Trump called/met with both a total of 12 times in months. Obama met Comey once officially and once to say goodbye. Never called him and had no one on one with Bharara ever.

I don't even see a reason for Trump to have to contact Bharara once let alone 3 times.

Don't you read the Repub talking points? Trump is too stupid to know what's right or inappropriate to do, the smartest hard working president, doesn't have time to be bothered learning protocols, he's gotta MAGA!

I suspect that Trump has already made fatal mistakes. One more won't change that for him any more than it did for Nixon.

Yes, this incident, rather than the last 432432432432432432432432 ones, will be the thing to end Trump's presidency!

That isn't what Comey said.

“I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go,” “He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.” Mr. Trump told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.

Every thing else is Comey felt like ... or He thought that ...
