Ok I watched it. They didn't mangle his car too bad. They replaced the broken fender, they upgraded the stereo, changed the oil, put some stupid fan in the intake which probably reduces air flow and therefore reduces power, then they filled it up with gas. I would love that.

it's probably because india's hot and humid as shit and they walk everywhere. you wouldn't have much energy either if you were hot, sweaty, and had to walk all over.

but it's not hot and humid here in southern california?

If the Indian car guys don't understand how putting obstructive stuff in the air intake kills the power, I doubt they understand how an air conditioner works. The propane powered ones still blow my mind. How do they work!?!?

Indians can be powered by propane?

Probably mythbusters. They had an episode about cars and fuel savers. None of them worked. The best gas mileage (and probably power) was with the stock parts. It included things like the spinner and that tube thing that doesn't make any sense.

There are certain countries in the world where customizing your car is illegal and it will not pass a safety inspection. I lived in such a place for 5 years. If it did not come stock on the car you must remove it in order to pass inspection. This includes rims of any kind, trailer hitch, satellite antenna, fart can muffler and window tint just to name a few. So, in places like that, customization is a very new thing for them. Half the world is 50 years behind the USA. Be grateful for where you live.

I remember the infomercials for the Vornado. It all sort of makes sense when they're talking about it. I think the gist of it was it atomized the fuel/air so it would burn better. All good right? what happens when the piston compresses your nicely atomized fuel? :^D
