Indiana Jones V (The Crumbling Skull?)

He'll be 77 then.

:hmm:

Maybe he'll go back to the role of a university professor or a researcher working for a museum, and it'll be more like a contemplative memoir.

Probably not though.

No, the real tall and scaly fella with prominent teeth.

Love harrison but he's way too old. Need to get that Jurassic World guy.

I like your style... Indian Jones and the Affable Accent

I was VERY excited for a new Indy.
But NOT with Ford. He's too old. WAY too old.
Horrible. It was Chris Pratt or bust.

I found a early release shot of his character:

I'd settle for Ryan Reynolds too...I think he could pull it off.

Correct. Both are so deep into franchises though (Deadpool, Jurassic Shit) I don't know if they will be able to be pulled away from them to start another huge role.

Sadly, River Phoenix, who NAILED a young Indy is no longer with us.

Wonder if the new plan is to bring him on as the new junior to introduce him and bring him on as the "new Indy" in 6.

This is the only hope, That him returning as Indy is quite literally and figuratively a passing of the torch. His role has to be very nominal.

Edit: After thinking about it a minute (instead of knee-jerk reaction posting) I would think that Ford is cognizant of this issue as well -- as he was with Star Wars. I'm guessing he'd only agree to do it with him bowing out and passing the torch. His character is just there to carry the story and connect the dots. He can't possibly be the main character.

Yes and no, Ford was ready for Solo to be killed 30 years ago butt continued though all 3 of the first movies and a return just now. Although if he can convince the second person of the Lucas-Speilberg directing duo to kill him off in a second blockbuster series, that would be quite the accomplishment.

I thought he was pretty spot-on in The Force Awakens, tbqh.

I disagree -- and I know that a lot of people feel he was great in it.
He just seemed tired and forced for most his parts. There were moments of classic Solo/Ford, but in between, it seemed like he needed a nap.

Why stop there? Hell he should start hitting up sequels and start offing all his on-screen characters: Jack Ryan, Dr. Kimble, Deckard, POTUS...now that would be an awesome wrap to his awesome career.
