Indian Food

I recently started dining out at Indian resturaunts, and I think I have found my new favorite type of cusine. My girlfriend and I have eaten Indian food 3 times in the last month and a half. And we always get the same entrees with the appetizers, wine, and desert changing during every visit.

Makahna Chicken
Achari Ghost (lamb)

i dont really fancy indian or persian or asian food. (i'm asian). I just like w/e's beer-battered and deep fried. if it comes with a free heart attack, i'm up for it.

I love Indian food, too, but I love real Indian food--not the ones on buffet. Those tend to be meh.

Indian food is probably my favorite cuisine as well. Especially Tandori Chicken and Egg Curry .... mmmmmm.

If you like beer, you may want to try Kingfisher one of the times you go to an Indian restaurant. It's not one of my favorites, but it goes very well with the spicier indian dishes IMO.

Actually, I had a Kingfisher tonight with dinner. I really dont care much for Indian beer, or any asian beer for that matter. I usually drink a Reisling with Indian food.

chicken tikka was the most popular food in england until last year when lasagna beat it out.

Kingfisher was good when I was in India.

The popular indian dishes you will have in North America tendo to be from Northern India. Punjabi food I beleive.

Personally, the food I ate in Calcutta was horrible. I wasn't eating anything the last 2 weeks I was there.

BAN!

The only bollywood babe that is worth mentioning or even posting a picture of is that chick who was on Oprah who was claimed to be the most beautiful woman in the world.

I made the mistake of eating indian food and then working out a couple hours later at the gym. Man, did I reek.

Tandoori lamb, chicken or lamb vindaloo, onion pakoras, nan, ... yum!

I sometimes commit culinary sacrilege though by taking the tandoori lamb chunks and veggies and dipping them in raita (light yogurt with tomato chunks) alternated with bites of nan bread. Sort of like a gyro but with much better meat and a milder sauce.
