Does anyone know if the matches will be shown on TV in North America in general and Canada in particular?

No clue, but it'd probably be on Fox Sports World... which I wish I got so I could learn crazy sports like Rugby and Crickey.

In Canada it might be on pay perview. But I'm not sure.

Only way to watch regular cricket matches (non World Cup) in Canada is to get Dish TV Satellite..whihch is not legal to be sold in Canada (some retarded CRTC ruling)..which means you'd have to get it illegally.

However if the matches are shown on normal pay-per-view then you get that. I know we paid $35 for quaterfinal matches during World Cup wiht Rogers. Then $50 for semis..and apparntly finals were $70-ish..good thing we didn't get tthat..we know how that turned out! :|

Hopefully the India vs Pakistan matches should be shown on regular Pay Per View with Rogers or Shaw cable, since it has a fairly large following in Canada.

I can't wait for it to start!!

Man even BBC cant get live commentary rights, neither can cricinfo.com

I dont think there is any way to view the match on the web, or hear the radio commentary

Holy sh1t that was some match!

I was disappointed that pakistan lost but man o man its was an entertaining match from start to finish! and thats saying much since its 7+ hours of playing time!

Excellent match, brilliant performances by both teams It was fun watching the mtach with 100 other people. I had to pay $12 for it but it was writh it :beer: As for the broadcasting rights, the website of willow tv still says that they are working on acquiring the rights for the series. Imagine the best series in world cricket and no TV rights for it, fvcking disgusting

For us its $40CDN. Well I watched it at a friend's place. You don't really need a big tv to enjoy it though..I mean its not like we are getting an HDtv feed (oh how I wish we did).

Jigga: 4 more ODIs to go, and then they start playing Test matches.

The Test matches will be boring, but the ODIs should be quite interesting.

You are wrong the test series will be one of a cracker. Both teams are palying with passion and don't wanna loose. I was wondering if Pakistan looses today man .. every one will be firing line. For the third game believe me the crowds will be hostile and if in case they loose the series boy oh boy I believe the crowd is going to beat the hell of out of the beloved patriot players. Fans in India & Pak are taking this game very seriously. I wonder if matches actually lower the tension .. well I think they create a hell lot of tension. They way the match swings is great.!
