Welcome to the Internet.
That video is from 2000 (corrected)
It's been an ATOT phenomenon ever since YouTube happened.

I still don't get why everyone (Non-Indian) find this song so amusing. It looks like a regular Bhangra Dance track to us Indian folks. 🙂

So you're saying that they're serious about this crap? That's pathetic.

Oooo stop being an ignorant b!tch.

I have some bhangra on my comp... including this vid with some fine ladiesss...

How am I being ignorant by saying that this crap is total garbage? It's horrible. The backstreet boys, Nsync, and other such pop bands are total garbage, too. Just because it's Indian doesn't mean it's exempt from sucking.

PS- the video you just posted sucks royally also. How can you like this garbage? It's no different than the backstreet boys, with 5 or more guys wearing the same clothes, dancing in formation while being backed with cheap, electronically played music. It's nothing more than mass-produced studio music meant to fool a specific group of unintelligent people who know nothing about music. You are one of them.

LOL dude the video sucks I was just mocking your comment that Indians take this seriously.

No one takes that crap seriously dude. Its still funny tho 🙂

And this guy isn't the Indian "backstreet" boy from my info. He'd be more like the old washed up country folk singer trying to do a flashy video.
