Funny thing about Vance's liabilities and weaknesses as documented in his critique is that most things that's listed therein as liabilities are things that Trump probably liked about Vance, until Vance started flapping his lips about things that made himself and Trump look stupid, clueless and liable for a lot of negative blowback.

A lesson to conspiracy theorists on just how difficult it is to keep secrets.

EDIT after reading the linked article:
"the Steele Dossier, which was both fraudulent and discredited"
okay so this author is clearly heavily biased right

"the Vance Dossier is factual and intelligently written"
the very first cited quote needs [sic], so yeah, super intelligent

all 4 quotes provided sing to the Trumpy base

This article is agitprop, designed to make the Trump campaign look good. I'm not about to delve into the underlying leak at work.

Good catch.

However, Ken is not exactly right-wing:

I appreciate this is a mask off moment at least. Elmo previously complained about Twitter suppressing stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop and is now doing the exact same thing.

It is sort of funny though that this moron has torched his reputation and 44 billion dollars in a losing campaign effort.

I mean the man is basically screaming stuff like "Vote Trump or we all die." into the void all day now so whatever mask there was has long since been discarded.

Crazy how one of his brood being trans and telling him to fuck all the way off was the catalyst for his downward mental spiral. Like a pebble trigging an avalanche.

I agree it was the catalyst - I think now though it's searching for narcissistic supply. Right wingers praise him and he desperately, desperately needs that praise so he's leaned in on whatever gets him that.

I think he is genuinely emotionally wounded by how badly his Twitter acquisition has blown up in his face, both from a reputational and financial standpoint. I think it's why he told advertisers to go fuck themselves - he's mad and lashing out. Why don't we love him like we used to???

The man gets hyper fixated (amongst the narcissism and ****isms). When it’s on electric cars and going to Mars it’s good.

When it’s on lashing out at LGTBQ because his feelings are hurt - not so much.

He's not really a big fan of people telling him he's wrong even when he is playing in areas that are way outside his competence which he does with some regularity. Like the Thailand cave incident.

Nothing big, no. Basically what you would expect. Really the story of Musk trying to suppress it and the news media's hypocrisy as compared to 2016 is more of a story than the document itself.

Notably quiet from the people, Musk included, who criticized Twitter taking down Hunter Laptop stories when doing the same thing (except motivated by partisanship now) to unfavorable news about their political friends.

And Elmo proptly suspended his X account.

At any rate, here is a link to his substack with a link to the huge PDF file on Vance:

Is it though? Seems more its a deal with a devil, and much of it should have up front been like "hmm, probably not", like his dumbass Tesla tunnels, and his entire Mars colon-y idea. His near perpetual lies about self driving capability. And it is likely just a matter of time til Musk has fuck-ups with SpaceX that dwarfs that. He's already raging about oversight and regulations there, and this is after the rocket explosion that did environmental damage. Oh, and also SpaceX has been stealing land.

SpaceX has delivered 9 crews to the space station for about half of what we’ve paid Boeing.

They’ve managed to successfully launch 300 + Falcon 9s in a row before having a partial failure and they’ve lowered the price to orbit significantly.

Musk is the main issue with both companies.

He was still really fucked up before then. Come on how many bullshit lies and nonsense had he been spewing already about himself and his products, and he'd started leaning right already too, though obviously that definitely pushed him further but he was already is super duper liar full of shit guy.
