incredibly slow lan transfers

I have changed the nic again on the XP machine, and hey presto. I'm there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Installed the Linksys line100TX, and now getting 50 - 60mb transfers.

Who would have thought that a d-link and a netgear would be such a problem

Glad to hear ya got it fixed....at the very least, you know your system' been pretty much tweaked down to the screws....
