If you can, if you have HBO, you MUST catch the HBO airing of this weeks Real Time With Bill Maher. Barney Frank and Steve Moore really go at it.

From the Iraq war, to human rights, and yes, to Hillary. They did a great show.
And especially Bill's NEW RULES i.e. The Heritage Foundation & The Project For The New American Century. What a great "sum it all up" show.

(Sorry, HBO will not let me do a youtube link, but they should)

If (when) you catch it, what did you think...?

ps. Heres a link to NEW RULES, but it has not been updated for this weeks show, yet. Keep checking.
(Catch the New Rule, when its posted, on The Heritage Foundation)
NEW RULES

New Rule: Mel Gibson can't do another major TV interview unless he's rip-roaring drunk. Mel, enough of this guy who talks about "healing" and explains why he's not a "monster," and how he feels "powerless" over everything. Sounds like someone's spent too much time in rehab listening to their Jew therapist.

Now, get your Nazi mojo back, Mr. Braveheart-and march back out there and call Diane Sawyer "sugar tits."
LMAO! Almost makes me want to subscribe again.... almost.

As expected, the right-wing WSJ editor and founder of the 'club for growth' Steve Moore made a fool of himself. What is it with guys like that, you can just tell they have some real problems, the way they are so petty and giggle compulsively and such. Bill Kristol is even worse, with his permanent smirk and repeated giggles.

They just get all excited when they get to argue for torture and killing and things. They are 8 year old boys with men's vocabularies.

The show had a few good moments; Frank ate Moore for breakfast. For example, when Moore wanted to prove the democratic Congress had been just as corrupt as the republican one, he cited the 'postage stamp' 'scandal' in 1994. Everyone laughed at him, because it was so clear how tame that 'scandal' was compared to the republican culture of corruption today.

The segment Maher did on the think tanks made some good points, but it was way too tame and missed important facts about things like who funds the think tanks.

It's valuable for people to realize how 'the machine' works and the role the 'think tanks' play in creating messages aimed at deceiving - including the hundreds of millions in funding for dozens of think tanks and 'advocacy groups' by Exxon to create doubt in the public on global warming.
