Hi all, I use the Linksys 802.11b Gaming Adapter to play Xbox Live, and my router is a DI-524. Usually my connection is fine, but often it is worse than everyone else, and I'm betting this is due to my connection.
Several questions...
Which way should I point the antenna is the Xbox is on the floor below the router, and about 10 feet in one direction horizontally... towards/perpendicular?
What could I do to increase performance in the settings? Decrease the TX rate... and if so, to what? Buy a new antenna? And what antenna's can I use/would you recommend?
This emulator of the router settings should help: http://support.dlink.com/emula...di524/adv_perform.html
I have no idea what most of these settings mean, but if anyone could tell me and help me out, that'd be awesome.
