I have a 45 gig maxtor 7200rpm ata/100 hard drive. I partition it down into a few drives but I made a smaller drive to hold th os win98. I have made that partition to small. So I was wondering if there is any way to increase the size of that partition without deleting and creating a new. the entire drive is partition ie there is no spare space that doesnt belong to a partition.

If you have PowerQuest's Partition Magic it is easy to first reduce the size of one of the partitions that has unused space on it to create free space and then enlarge the other partition to occupy that free space. Since I have Partition Magic this is the only tool I have used. There are some freeware/shareware utilities that do the same, but since I haven't used them myself, I can't comment on them.

A likely place to find what you want -- if you don't have Partition Magic -- is
