I'm a 6' 210 weight lifter with a 46" chest, but a 32" waist.

And I CAN wrap my thumb and index finger around my wrists, yet my upper arms are 19" flexed.

You can see it in this pic from about a year and a half ago:

What is your bf% Amused. If you are <12% then that muscle is great, but it seems like there's some extra fat in that picture.

It was taken winter before last.

I pay very little attention to BF in the winter and concentrate on bulking.

My BF was probably around 20% there.

It's around 12-15% in the spring and summer.

I don't try going any lower than that. When I do I feel like crap and get sick.

The girlies dig <12%. Cmon man, don't tell me you weightlift for health and goodbeing. Those are nice, but I would rather have that extra first bonus included. :p

Bah, I have no problem with women. Seeing as I'm 39 years old, the women I like like me just fine.

At any rate, like I said, it makes me feel very bad when I go below a certain point. Who wants to feel like crap and be sick all the time?

Yeah, I can easily wrap my thumb and index finger around my wrist. Actually, i can get my thumb and any of my other fingers around my wrist. But I also have pretty big hands, so thats probably the reason.

My wrist is painfully small, I can almost wrap my thumb and index finger around my wrists.

I don't consider my wrists to be small at all and I can touch my thumb to my index finger. Just barely, but I can. Maybe I just have long fingers?

As a reference, here are some pics of my arm/wrist/hand. It's hard to take pics of my own, entire arm in low light, so the pics aren't very good. The last two pictures emphasize my huge ulna-end moutain.

Something like this....

I made my own using PVC pipe and some rope. Stand on a chair or a bench and roll it down, and then roll it up. This is the best forearm/wrist workout I've ever done.

We did that last year and PE, and it's a b!tch

Yeah, I use 10lb weights in each hand, rolling upwards. I can usually only do about 10-15 reps before I fail. I don't think I'm doing it often enough to build any muscle, though (1-2 sets, averaging every other day).

Captains of Crush. If you can close the No1 you have my respect :). If you can crush the No2 bar to bar then your the f0cking man!

Btw how thick are your wrists? Mine are 7.25" and I weigh 185lbs @ 5"10. Most guys have small wrists as it is largely genetic.

There are no muscles to speak of around the wrist area. The proximal region of the forearm....or "the meaty part",....those muscles control the fingers. There is no way, I'm aware of, to increase the size of your wrist.

i dont feel like reading the whole thread, but i remember the BURN after doing this excersize.

take a weight, tie it to a wood/metal round bar, about 2' in length so it hang down from it while the bar is horizontal.
then, take your wrists, and slowly roll the bar until the weight is to the top, just twisting your wrist, use a 5lb weight or so.

it is difficult

Its "scientifically" impossible to increase wrist diameter, as it is predetermined by your DNA. Same goes for your body type, how tall you will be, , and many more things :)
