Increased space for yahoo mail users

dabuddha

Lifer
Was checking my yahoo mail this morning and noticed that I now have 100 meg of storage space with a message size limit of 10 meg now! The new interface is kinda nice looking too.

LOL Yahoo mail isn't even coming up for me right now... getting PCBD. Hotmail and GMail are up though. 😉 As a matter of fact, none of the Yahoo services (calendar, briefcase, etc.) are up for me.

woohoo! yahoo took advantage of the extra space to send me the email telling me they upgraded service as a 500kb message!

one of my yahoo acct is 100mergs, other is still 6megs.

anyone know when everything will be upgraded?

Sweet. I knew this would happen when Google launched its Gmail. Competition is good. I've got a Gmail account too, but I have no plans on ditching my Yahoo account either. They're both good sites and services. The funny thing is that most of this MB and GB talk is just marketing ploys since the vast majority of people won't even come close to touching the 100MBs Yahoo's providing, must less the 1GB Gmail's providing.

You'd be surprised with all the attachments that are flying around.
"Hey check out this powerpoint presentation! So purdy!"

what cracks me up now is hotmail, with their 2MB and biggest spam database in the world.

if yu want extra space there you can spend $59 a year for 100MB! WOOT!!
