Increased drinking water = decreased stamina?

Well, I average about a 3 quarts to a gallon of water a day, and about 1.5 to 2 pieces of fruit a day. Mostly pears, peaches, bananas and apples. Too much fruit and I really start to put on pounds. I also have balanced meals with vegetables.

If worse comes to worse, I'll use the caffiene (caffienated tea, diet coke, etc.) if I need the boost before homework time late at night. I don't know why I'm still tired when I wake up, though. (More tired, that is... who under 30 wants to wake up before 9 anyway?)

A gallon a day? I only drink so much in summer.
Maybe the loss of sugar (found in coke, lemonade...) and the loss of some alcaloids (caffeine, teofilin, kinin...) are decreasing your stamina. One can become addicted to those like coffe.
