Increase Simultneous Downloads - How to?

I am downloading some mp3s from a website and would like to inrease the number of simultaneous downloads at one time? How do I do this?

Right now i can only have 2 downloads at one time, but I have a great Cable modem and can handle several more at one time...where is the mod to increase this, or is it controlled by the website?
