Pulling my hair out trying to find a solution that will work. Currently have Cricket wireless. We have 2 bars outside our house but as soon as we step inside people can't hear us or we don't receive calls. I'm about to order this:

But I feel like there has got to be something cheaper than $200 to get the job done. Like 4g routers? Please help
 
I'm too lazy to click your link but if it's a signal booster a decent one will definitely work. I installed one at work as my lab area is a dead zone. I used a Wilson Electronics setup that ran about $500. Works great!

But yes, WiFi calling sounds like the solution for you.
 
cheap signal boosters dont work well. and improperly installation will cause issues for you AND others near your house. something above $600 will work with proper installation.
cheapest solution is to switch carriers that serve your house better. or get google hangouts to make calls on wifi.
 
I have the same Z-Boost that your OP cites. The internal booster looks exactly like the one in your link, and the receiving antenna is outside connected by about 50 feet of coax. It works just fine. Be sure and get the one that matches your carrier's frequency. Mine is Verizon, and the Z-Boost also supports my VZW hotspot.
 
Was Z-Boost previously sold under the Wilson Electronics brand or are they different? The hardware looks somewhat similar.
