Incorrect mbm temps

I installed mbm on a fesh install of windows last week, and input the model number of my mobo into mbm5, and my sys tray is reporting a case temp of 40 and a cpu temp of 28....Those can't be right. Mbm5 always had correct readings before I reformatted, so what's wrong? Is there a setting I need to change somewhere? I know my system's not in danger or anything, but I'd really like those readings to be accurate.

Any suggestions?

They're probably just backwards. MBM isn't perfect at reading temperatures. Check them at idle, reboot and check your BIOS readouts to see if they match.

I am not saying they are right. I am asking what you are basing your conclusion on.
May be I missed something. Was MBM 5 reporting different figures on the same hardware before this install?

Did mbm5 have different revisions for your motherboard? If so, maybe you picked the wrong revision and that could cause it to read from the wrong sensors. It would be pretty tricky for the cpu temp to be lower than the ambient temp.

I checked the revisions when I first set it up, and when I clicked for my mobo, it just said "all revisions". I know the temperatures are wrong because under normal circumstances, it is impossible to have your cpu temp 12 degrees lower than your case temp.

it's not feasable to have a cpu temp 12 degr. lower than your case temp.
