Incomplete Page Loads and HTTP 400s

Hey Zuni et al,
I'm not here to complain about the speed of the server I understand the whole subscriber/money situation. However I did want to voice some concern about the recent Incomplete Page Loads and Bad Requests (HTTP 400s) I've been receiving. Roughly 9 of 10 thread loads results in a Incomplete Page Load where I either see nothing but the banner or only the first 2 posts and end up reloading the page (usually twice making 3 full loads/request for one thread). Also every single time I post a new topic or a reply I get a "Bad Request" HTTP 400 error.

I know that you're trying to cut down on spending money on the forums etc however does the cost of adding another server (or beefing this one up) and/or getting a slightly larger pipe out-weigh the cost of the additional bandwidth usage (traffic) for those of us who are requesting the same document 2 and 3 times just to get it to load properly.

the servers are fine, the cap is your main issue, and as you've stated there is a way around that, pay a little money per year, and all those issues dissapear.

Perhaps this is rude of me and perhaps alot of people won't understand this. But I put alot more in to these forums then I take out of them so there is no point in my paying for the service. (ie: For every 15 or 20 posts of answers/input I make I might make 1 post worth of inquiry). That's the way I support AT is by helping people out with their problems. I was simply inquiring of the mods and powers that be the logic behind the way they are handling these concerns. It kinda bothered me that I was costing them extra bandwidth (traffic per month) to provide answers to other people questions.

(If something above is unclear just lemme know ... I tried to explain as best I could but perhaps there's a better way to word something I've said).

Edit: Also I'm not sure it has anything to do with the bandwidth cap. The cap is on available bandwidth ie: the bandwidth available to send information out to each client. Which is obviously sufficient or I wouldn't be getting anything back at all (blank screens) or I'd be getting server too busy messages.

Hi thorin actually narzy is dead on. Just because you only got a partial page does not at all mean that bandwidth doesnt have anything to do with it. It has EVERYTHING to do with it. Web servers & application servers are completely finished with y ou the client if you see data coming in, the page was executed processed and sent. A cap is a throttle, so if the limit is hit it throttles back and will cause incomplete pages and slowness. Please don't ask me to change it or do something about it, I can't 🙂

Sorry, but that is up to anand.

Thanks.

Here is the error that I have been getting, and the incomplete page loads even at 2 to 3 AM when I am sure there are some users in bed.
Internal error. Try again. (RESOURCE_RECLAIMED

To those that subscribe I also feel I have put more into the forums than I have taken out, I used to come in through the main page and I would take the time to click through all the add's to make sure that there was some Money going toward the service, I do not do this any more and probably no one cares.
You see I have plenty of time but NO MONEY and NO JOB so those of you that do not understand that by eliminating those like me that can help answer some posters problems is counterproductive. I have supported this board since it's start on Anands Geocities site. How did the board achieve its porularity? Word of mouth form members.
It seems that if you are not a subscriber you have NO riight to complain about anything or to make sugesstions concerning the board. I know I am going to hear" well if you dont like it dont use it". And for those of you that say this or feel this way this is also counterproductive, if the only ones that were on this board were subscribers the board would be almost empty.
