I am happy the way Anandtech.com reviews a mobile phone in detail. Exactly the way u want it. Totally HARDCORE. But, there is only one disappointment here "As you go to each and every detail of each component, in the same way why dont u get into the details of one of the most important component BATTERY"

I want to bring to the moderators and reviewers point that they even test BATTERY of each smartphones they test in their labs. We want to know the make and made of the phone battery and whether do they accurately display the capacity they display on the spec sheet. I feel that most of the batteries are highly rated on the spec sheet and doesnt display the correct info.

A normal BL-5C battery are 1000mah and what i saw on one of the chinese site is a healthy 2600mah BL-5C battery which i think is not true or it must be 1300mah and rated it as 2600mah. I hope you (Anandtech) understand and include the detailed battery test in their reports.

Checkout the Chinese ver of BL-5C with 2600mah capacity here:

Thankyou & i would also like to read comments and feedback and suggestions if any :)

As always, you'd be best off emailing the authors directly. They rarely check this forum.

I would also note that there's a massive difference between OEM batteries that come straight from the manufacturer, and the obvious (and dangerous) fakes off of Deal Extreme.
