incomplete building

could you start to put together a computer if you had the proc,mobo,heatsink,case,psu,hd

and not having the videocard,ram,dvdr drive?

im just wondering so i can get some of it out of the way and only have to put the easy stuff in later.

physically yes, but you cannot do much without the ram/video card when installing windows

nope family friend got it at a garage sale and sold it to me for $4 bucks more AFTER i had bought a 17" monitor at a trade show

from what i heard its a good monitor any claims to fame on this one?

alrighty then im almost done, i got the motherboard in the cpu(thermal grease,heatsink/fan),new psu. The only slight annoyance is the hooking up of the case power/led/fans/usb ports. to many little dangling connectors
