Sweet. Time to grab a , flip on the news, and watch the idiots crash into each other.

"I don't know what happened," stated one accident victim "I had the Range Rover in 4WD.......how in the world did I lose traction?"

Sure, you go driving on sheet ice with 100,000 other people who don't know how to drive.

I plan to stay home and watch people on TV crash into each other, like Fausto.

DOn't worry, your neighbors to the north here in NC will be right behind ya'll. No lie, during last week's paralyzing .7 inches of snow and ice, I saw a driver in a Jeep Liberty going 65 MPH and passing people on I40. This was on Saturday after most of the snow and ice had happened. But there was still crap all over bridges and some roads. Everyone else (including myself) knew there was ice around and was going 30-40mph. About half a mile ahead of me she ran over a patch of black ice on a bridge, spun the jeep around and hit the concrete median wall. A couple other cars stopped to helped when I drove by, her jeep's front end was totaled. Stupid dumb driver.

At least it will be over a weekend and not during the middle of the work week. Less idiots on the road.

I remember driving home during the ice storm on 2000 and some lady slammed on her brakes when she saw cop lights on Peachtree Industrial. She did a 180 right in the middle of the road. She's lucky there weren't any other cars around her other than me. I was able to glide right past her.

If you actually need groceries hurry up and get your ass to Publix before all the paranoid folks buy out all the bread, milk and bottled water!

Yeah, doesn't she know how to drive? Just before you get to the bridges, you take your foot off the gas pedal; let Newton's 1st law of motion take you across the bridge, then put your foot back on the gas. If only she had known, then she could have passed all you people who don't know how to drive on bad roads and not ended up wrecking ;) :p

Already in Kansas & Oklahoma. At least we're a little more experienced with ice, although that's not saying much.

I'm supposed to be driving there today from Knoxville, TN. We were going to leave @ 7:00. Suddenly, this seems like a terrible idea.

Our reason for the trip: To "hang out" with friends. Might have to reconsider.

Hey I wasn't the one who wrecked punk :p
I was driving cautiously since there was ice patches all over the roads, not just the bridges. When there's ice out, you really don't want to be passing people whether or not you THINK you know how to drive on bad roads.
