i'm broke and 13, can't get a regular job. Anyone have any ideas for something i could do for a source of income? I need to start saving for UT2, Doom 3, and GeForce 4.
 
I think you're still too young to get a real job, though you could try a grocery store as a bagboy, I've known some of them to hire 14 year olds

Though you could probably just hit your parents up for money. I used to do it all the time 🙂
 
Whatever you do, don't do it at truck stops.

Seriously tho, you'd be surprised how much you can make doing lawns *if* you have a system.
If you're *good* w/ computers, compete with Best Buy, etc for installing s/w, cards, tune ups, virus cleansing, etc.
If you're good w/ website design, you can do that.
 
dude cutting grass used to be where it's at, I remember hoppin on dad's riding lawn mower and cutting like 3 lawns a day (at 20 bucks a pop) it adds up man.
 
Take compromising pictures of your neighbors & blackmail them.

For example, if your neighbor's wife screws the milkman catch her accepting a delivery.

im good with web design, im GOOD with computers, even check out my cool geocities page in my profile 😀...im 13, and i dont make $$...i just get $20 a week from my pop...heh, i use spedia too!
 
Well first you need to start saving for dsl...then you won't have to worry about the software part..

Also, if you commit felonies, armed robbery, etc. you most likely wont be tried as an adult.

How about data entry at some company? just mindless typing... Hmm is it possible to earn about 2 thousand over a summer doing light jobs (ie data entry, best buy, etc)? I live in NYC and need some money before going off into college in the fall this year...

Thanx for the advice i'm definantly not going to use. And as for the dsl, I already got cable, or my dad did. 🙂

You could do one of those work from home internet gigs after school and on weekends. You can make $1500 (part time) or $3500 (full time) per month. I see signs on telephone poles all over the place so they must be legit.

Scam. They're doing so for prime motivation of something, most likely referrel credit. Back in the All Advantage(by the way , alla_vantage showed up as banned word.. why?)

A few years back, some idiot put up his referrel ID's in every boys room in school above the urinals and all the toilet paper dispensers. I knew it happened to every bathroom because it actually came up on school's daily annoucement through the speaker that "some student have placed referrels to internet marketing schemes in all the boys restroom throughout the school. This is not acceptable and anyone caught will face detention"

PS: my guess on why the word AA is banned is back when it was popular, someone thought it'd be a good idea to flood the forum with their referrel ID's.
 
I just made a somewhat large website for my dad's friend one summer and he paid me about 900 bucks back when I was 13. If you're good with computers see what you can do for your parents friends or something.
