also, a kid who refs at the paintball field i work at plays high school football, and he told me he pokes people in the eyes all the time in the pile. pretty much anything goes. i don't think he's ever done any ball grabbing or anything tho.

Saying "that's gay" gets a little tedious. I don't have a general problem with it, but it's overused by people with a poor grasp of English. We have it banned on our game server along with other more obvious choices. In the gaming arena, people that'll use "gay" quickly also tend to be the ones that run their mouths, and allow things to degenerate into a juvenile flame war, so banning the word makes things easier on everyone.

Servers that ban terms/phrases are kinda gay.

Dirtier stuff than that happens in a dogpile. I'm sure most of those guys would prefer a little leg pinch vs getting their eyes gouged.

UT2k4. We really don't have issues any more. All the kiddies have moved on to the next shiny thing, so we're left with the serious players. Not nearly as many as there used to be, but the ones left are more fun to play with.

My HS soccer coach used to joke all the time about checking the other teams oil if they were all over you. At least I think he was joking.
