Hello all. I am going out on a limb, but I think my psu is inadequate and causing my system to shut down during periods of heavy use. I will be playng CoD4MP for example while on Teamspeak, and it will just shut off. It powers right back up though.
If I return my system and gpu overclocks back to stock it's fine. An I on the right track? I don't want to run out and buy a new power supply unless I have to...

My system... Thermaltake 480 watt psu (using the 20 to 24 pin adapter) for the mobo.
AMD Black Edition 5000+ @ 3.2, 2 x 1 gig Crucial Ballistix at 4 4 4 12 @ 800, Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo, X1950XT @ 655/945. Arctic cooling Freezer 64 pro.

It very well could be your PSU. Have you watched your volts while running a game in the background? That would help narrow down the problem. If your volts drop below 11.97 on the 12V+, then that is your problem for sure.
Of course the easy way to tell is to borrow a PSU from a friend, and try it out. IF there is no restart, then you know your problem..

I'd check temp and RAMs for problem. Run Memtest86, test #5 for 50 loops. Open the side of your case. Use a table fan to blow air into the case.
