In your oppinion who makes the best GF3 TI Card

Elsa and the Gladiac line.

Great card, with a great warranty. Plus, it probably has the best 2D out of all the others (maybe not Gainward)

I have a Gladiac 920 and love it

<< In your oppionion who makes the best GF 3 Ti 200 and GF 3 Ti 500 video card (ganward, leadtek, visiontek, PNY etc).

Thanks

For the Ti200, it really doesn't matter very much (yet). However, for the Ti500, Asus makes the best one so far.

Leadtek is definitely the best. I haven't seen anyone complain about its 2D image quality and in fact there was a review done that claimed that their 2D image quality was even better than Matrox's. That's the first time I've ever seen such a statement made by anyone.

my friend just ordered this puppy and wow. It is well crafted. Ive seen a few GF3 pics online and boy this thing is nice. There are separate heatsinks on the RAM and not just one big one, there is a nice and sturdy fan on the grafx chip, and it is red😉.

I would definitely think about the gainward. they are cheaper than most too.

<< For pure O/C, Inno3D. Cheap, frill-less, fast(4ns Hynix) and cool(thanks to the stockblorb). >>

Unless they've improved the memory recently, the Inno3D cards only use 5ns memory. Tweaker's Asylum has a review where they show the 5ns Hynix memory chips, although they did get the memory up to 475. When Planet Savage reviewed it, they only got it up to 450 MHz. Too bad, because it's the coolest looking card available.

neah. I still think the Gainward looks better right here.

although, I could have sworn that the heatsinks on the gainward that covered the ram were divided up into smaller pieces. The picture shows 2 big heatsinks, but I remember them having 4 smaller ones. It is functionally better to have heatsinks not extending over multiple chips because the heat from one affects the heat on another. oh well, when you see the gainward and the red, you will be in awe. 😉

Other then not having to (or more like wanting to) upgrade in six months am I going to notice $92 worth of difference between the Leadtek GF3 Ti200 and the Leadtek GF3 64 Mb? ($166 and $258 respectively).

Thanks

ELSA IS NOT THE BEST...if u think it is...then ur wrong...VISIONTEK WILL BE THE BEST...visiontek makes elsa cards...so why pay more when u can pay less???...leadtek i had...i dont like it...crappy overclock...asus is decent...but known problems with g3...inno3d...best cheap card...hercules...dependable...gainward...best overclocking card with golden sample...
