7900GT

If you can get one in the UK for £207delivered, they must cost nothing in US. Bastards. :)

7900GT or X1800XT. Flip a coin or find the cheaper of the two. You'll win either way.

I'd have to say 7900GT overall. Though if you're dead set on an ATI card, the X1800XT is not bad. But I'd still say 7900GT.

Unless the 256mb vmem severely cripples the performance of the x1800xt, it should spank the 7900gt in most cases, as well as offer newer features and better IQ, seeing how the 512mb xt was overall faster than the 7800gtx. For the same price, it's a no brainer. And the 7900gt cooler is loud, so it doesnt have the quiet thing going for it like the gtx.

What is the warranty on the HIS card? I dislike the typical 1yr warranty on ATI cards.
HIS doesn't even have warranty and rma info on its website which is an automatic red flag.

The 7900GT takes up less power and runs cooler than the 1800, there are things to consider other than performance. either way, the 7900GT will oc to 7800GTX 512 speeds easily if you are willing, and that will always be faster
