as a motorcyclist, i've pondered this one a few times and i still havent come to a definite answer.

persistent vegetative state? hell no. pull the plug on that one. that's not living. that's existing.
 
You never know when something will turn around for you; so never!

Sometimes turning around for you = dying : p I picked 6 at that point you can't even try to entertain yourself while you lay there. I'd probably want to off myself eventually with the others, but I'd at least give it a shot.

Hmmm... Well in the early 21st century humans were already able to regrow fingers, which does include the nerves within them. 😛

Delivery to the central nervous system might be an issue with said method but with time could be done.
