In case anyone was wondering, daylight savings time has NOTHING to do with farming or rural life.
It was invented by the Kaiser to save on fuel costs during the war. It has no place in modern society and really should have been repealed decades ago.

Easy for me because East Coast time here is just 3 hours later than here. I'm hoping the whole country goes DS year round. Best argument against I remember is the school kids having to go to school in the dark. Maybe have their school day start an hour later for 5 months of the year, why not?

I have a better idea. Normalize noon when the sun is at it's highest position during summer solstice, and hold that time forever. Benefits = it makes fucking sense.
