Real smart. Pick the guy up off the ground and to his feet before properly restraining him.

Do those Brits know what handcuffs are for? Not until the very end do they finally attempt to cuff him or properly subdue him.

Headlock? Eh...no. That positions the suspect in such a way that they have easy access to your equipment. An armbar is usually the best way to go.
 
You have to give the Brit cops a break. Britian is nothing like America.

Considering the stuff American cops have to deal with, they're nearly on the level of a military solider. American cops are hardcore and rightfully so.

The cops are only as tough as the criminals they chase.
