In the Jackal...what's that stuff he sprays onto the van cargo door?

When he's in the parking deck, right after hosing the car down (to hose off the white 'paint'), he sprays some stuff out of a can onto the cargo door handle.

Then, when one of the pursuers touches it, white stuff appears at his mouth before he dies...

What on earth happened here?? What was that spray? cyanide...?

Dunno but it looked like a painful death! I really dont' have a geuss cause i'm not really aquanited with that type of chemicals. the only chemical i know is cyanide, and i didn't think it worked by touch like that, seems biological to me if it did that....

i remeber seeing a movie a long time ago,there was cattle being killed and mutilated,this guy was asking questions,someone put some stuff on his toothbrush,he brushed his teeth,and started bleeding,and yuck
