Because like any good man he saw it in the que and said:

"What the fuck?! Iron Man got moved to #2. Not in my house!"

In the end it's really your wife's fault for not letting you know that it was in the que for a reason.
 
I know that I've seen some kind of HD Showcase / HDScape / whatever Blu-Ray discs at Wal-Mart and Hastings. I got the sampler that includes bits from all of them for $6.99. I know they have aquariums, fireplaces, sunsets, etc, and IIRC, there was an island/beach themed one.
 
I was just screwing around in my Comcast On Demand sections and they have a bunch of these living HD background things. I didn't notice a beach one but I wasn't really looking that hard either. I just fired up a waterfall one just to see it.
 
Surprised no one has mentioned this yet....make a separate queue for your wife. You get one less DVD from your queue out at a time...she gets out whatever she wants. When she returns her DVD, she gets what was on the top of her queue. When you return one from yours, you get one from yours.

Can't you just DVR some episodes of Baywatch and play that instead?

Looks like I'm too late anyway, what did you end up doing?
