Study the software section. you never know when someones going to throw you a curveball, and at 125 bux a shot...is it worth it not to study up on stuff you know your weak in?

I would also think the software might be harder.. I took the hardware in July and passed but haven't gone back to take software yet. :(

i thought the software was harder because of all the DOS memory questions i got.

as long as you study at least a little bit you should be fine.

i did 20 pts better on the hardware portion than on the software portion. so it's not really a big difference if you know what you're doing. then again, i took the tests a little over a year ago, so i don't know what's changed.

I've never had the guts to take this test. I work on hardware all the time but I always tell myself to study more for the test and not waste $125 on each test. I think I'm just too scared that I will fail it. Any suggestions?

you can take a "pre-test" on cram exam.com I wfound the cramexam test to be alot harder then the real deal. One more thing. When testing, take your time.. Even if the answer is very obvious, rule out the other answer first.

Good job. Way to go. :D I wish I wasn't such a wussie or I would go try it as well. :(

Edit: You just got your first 10 (on your rating) for being A+ certified. ;)
