well, if you want "Free" ISP, I think you have have advertisement banner... Ofcourse there are few ways to get around it, but I think it is illegal, so I don't advise you to do it...

I have tried several different free-isps, including Netzero, Freei-net, and Altavista, but I think Altavista turned out to be to best one for me. I didn't have to get click on banner every 30 mins to stay online. As matter of fact, you don't have to click on advertisement at all... only thing you can't do is to leave your system on for long period of time sitting idle. Inactivity of your system will disconnect your internet connection and you will end up redialing...

Try Altavita freeisp... It is much smaller (Under 1 meg) than Netzero...or Free-i-net which varies in size from 4 to 6 megs.. (well that is what I saw, the last time I checked)

I used to use freewwweb before they went out of business.

I get free ISP access because I work for my ISP though, so I don't really have to worry about it! ;)

When I'm at work I get to surf on multiple T1s so it's pretty sweet.

I currently use a combination of JUNO, Free-I, netzero and altavista. I like altavista the best for most general surfing, but the only one that would let me stay connected to download BeOS PE (40+ meg) was Juno. I can only connect to Juno about 50% of the time, if I could reliably connect all the time the I would be using Juno and nothing else. As it is, I can alway connect because I have 4 options going for me.

also try 1nol.com, they have a free service without banners. so far it seems pretty good, and it only disconnects after a pretty long inactivity period.
