My new obstacle is motherboard related... for 11900k, my research suggested ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus and ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO...
I also would like to get a Corsair 128GB 4x32 3600 set
Unfortunately, the RAM support page doesn't support any Corsair 128GB 3600 set. If I want that speed then I have to get Team brand rams. And not even the part numbers they gave matches the specifications I request!?!
TF10D4128G3600HC18JQC01 & TDZAD4128G3600HC18JQC01...

So I am thinking to sack ASUS!

I want the best possible MOBO. My previous built LGA 2011 had the best possible mobo...
A workstation: ASUS P9x79 WS... I... We have been very happy together through out the years, very happy more than a decade...

I am not a gamer. I am not against gams it's just that I won't be playing any games on this system. I won't even have internet in my OS! I don't even need Wifi... But I need all the present technology supported. I need a workstation grade card.

So any input towards helping me to narrow down my research are welcomed with open arms :)
An option is drop down 3600 to 3200.... But frankly I rather would wanna go up... Who wouldn't...

Do you mean the difference between 3200 and 3600?

Since you've mentioned I was thinking a classic; Noctue N-D14...
I don't have a noise problem...

Yes.
The difference is not such that you should miss pairing the TUF board with the excellent 64 GB Corsair memory that the board supports eg,
CMK64GX4M8B3200C16(Ver4.31) 8x8GB@ 3200. The 128 modules are much slower, @2666.
Note that the PRIME Z590-A supports faster128 GB modules than the TUF . Look at that board as perhaps the best choice.eg, the 128 GB modules CMT128GX4M8X3600C18(Ver4.31) 8x16GB will go @ 3.6GHz.
The NH-D14 is OK so long as you stay within Intel's power limits. If you plan to use MCE, full load on all cores, that cooler will not suffice .

Thanks for the heads up for the cooler... I am not sure of MCE but what I gathered I can live without it?

I am not looking at TUF boards. At the moment I am in between two boards:
GIGABYTE Z590 VISION D and ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero...
MCE ( multi core enhancement) is an ASUS ( and others) way to provide over clocking type performance increases simply by ignoring intel power limitations. The switch is located in the Bios under AI Tweaker and can be left on default "auto" which means it will not engage.

@ corsair.com I checked the compatibility list For ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO, and there is no Ramset for 128GB !?

I opened a ticket since I am a customer. Not that anything assuring will come out of it...

I give up!

There is only one 3200GHz 4x32 128GB Ram set in the Asus QVL list and that is G.SKILL F4-3200C16Q-128GTZN

However on the G.Skill QVL list for the Asus card, that particular Ram set doesn't come up!?

The Asus QVL list shows few more Corsairs sets but when you search them in google you see that they are not in the right config...

Besides, the Corsair QVL list doesn't have anything for Asus Maximus 8 hero card in 3200GHz 4x32 128GB either...

I don't get it! I really don't! Is it me? Am I bleeping this out? I mean these cards do advertise 128GB!?
I Have to buy everything in two days. That' my window! And I'm feeling very gloomy...

I suppose I just have to settle for a 2666MHz set then! I have a chip that provides 3200MHz the cards are advertising 3200MHz in 4x configuration, but I have to go with 2666MHz! Redundant!
Or go with 10-12 core 10th Gen CPU! Just weird!

Where are you looking , and what do you mean by not in the right configuration ? I see Corsair 4x32@3200
CMT128GX4M4C3200C16(Ver3.44) on the Hero list .

Yes. That's true... They have a few Corsair sets now! They didn't 4-5 the days ago...
They only had the 'Team' brand for the configuration I asked for: 128GB 4x32 3600
That's the configuration I am talking about...

So that's not what I am getting though... For now, I am waiting for the Corsair to return to me... Since the Corsair' QVL list doesn't approve the Asus ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO for anything over 64GB... Also buying them is a bitch...

I received a reply from Corsair. They suggest these two sets: Which are two of the Corsair sets that were just recently added to the Asus QVL list literally a few days ago after I bitched about it!

VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL 128GB (4x32GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit – Black $949.99 VENGEANCE® LPX 128GB (4 x 32GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - Black $844.99

I will go with LPX...

I thank you for all the inputs you provided.
